Interim Senior Surveyor – Planned Investment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interim Senior Surveyor to lead the delivery of a major planned investment programme across a large residential property portfolio. You will join a busy asset‑management team and be responsible for overseeing major works, component replacement and energy‑efficiency projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage planned investment, major works and component replacement programmes.
• Lead and develop a small team of Surveyors.
• Oversee contractors, consultants and project delivery from inception to completion.
• Monitor project performance, budgets and programme delivery.
• Ensure compliance with CDM 2015, health & safety legislation and statutory requirements.
• Produce accurate financial and performance reports.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve high‑quality outcomes for residents.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building surveying, delivering planned maintenance or capital investment programmes in residential housing.
• HNC/HND in Building Surveying, CIOB or equivalent qualification.
• Strong project and contract management background.
• Experience writing specifications and contract documentation.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015 and construction‑related legislation.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
