Interim Social Work Team Manager – Domestic Abuse (Redbridge Council)

About the role
This interim position leads the Reach Out Domestic Abuse Service for Redbridge Council. You will manage a multidisciplinary team, including the Open Up behaviour change team, to support families affected by domestic abuse across the borough.
Key responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership for the Reach Out team and its Open Up component.
- Coordinate service delivery across children’s and adult social care departments.
- Develop and implement solutions to improve outcomes for adult and child survivors.
- Maintain hybrid working arrangements while ensuring service continuity.
Required profile
- Qualified Social Worker, fully registered with Social Work England.
- Minimum three years post‑qualification experience in a local authority setting.
- Proven experience in a managerial role.
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge of domestic abuse and the Safe and Together practice model.

What we offer
- Hourly rate of £45.20.
- £250 joining bonus for new starters.
- £300 referral bonus for successful placements.
