About the role
We are seeking an experienced Xero Implementation Specialist to support an organisation through the implementation and optimisation of Xero as its finance system. This interim opportunity requires a quick understanding of existing finance processes, leading the Xero implementation, and configuring the system to meet operational and reporting requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of Xero across the finance function.
- Review existing finance processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Configure Xero to meet business requirements.
- Support data migration, including transfer and validation of financial information.
- Set up the chart of accounts, reporting structures, workflows and controls.
- Support integrations with other systems where required.
- Test the system and resolve issues ahead of go-live.
- Provide guidance and training to finance users.
- Produce clear and accurate financial reports.
- Support the team through go-live and the initial period of system stabilisation.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen financial controls.
