About the role
The Interim Tax Reporting Consultant will support the Group year‑end tax reporting process, consolidating tax data, preparing adjustments and ensuring accurate IFRS disclosures. This fixed‑term position is based in London with a hybrid working model.
Key responsibilities
- Support consolidation of Group tax reporting information for the year‑end cycle.
- Prepare and review Group‑level tax adjustments, including elimination and true‑up entries.
- Handle complex tax accounting areas such as uncertain tax positions, discontinued operations, intangibles and business combinations.
- Calculate and review current tax, deferred tax and effective tax rate reconciliations under IFRS.
- Prepare tax journals and disclosures for statutory accounts and draft tax notes for financial statements.
- Act as the primary contact for finance teams on tax reporting matters and liaise with external auditors.
- Drive continuous improvement of tax reporting processes, templates and controls.
Required profile
- Strong background in Group‑level tax reporting and tax consolidation.
- Experience in a complex international company environment (highly desirable).
- Proven expertise in uncertain tax positions, business combinations, disposals and intangibles.
- Good working knowledge of IFRS tax accounting principles (IAS 12).
