Internal Account Manager – Healthcare Distribution

About the role

As an Internal Account Manager in the healthcare distribution sector, you will be based in Trafford Park, Manchester and act as the primary office‑based contact for strategic customer accounts. You will support the sales team by maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring smooth communication and helping to achieve revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of strategic customer accounts, building relationships with key stakeholders.
• Support customer retention and account growth through regular communication and coordinated visits.
• Follow up on quotations, identify cross‑selling and upselling opportunities, and maximise revenue.
• Coordinate contract mobilisation, implementation and onboarding action plans.
• Deliver excellent customer service, manage enquiries to resolution, meet SLAs and flag commercial risks.
• Maintain accurate account administration, including pricing schedules, product updates, samples and CRM records.
• Support Quarterly Business Reviews and collaborate with internal teams for seamless service delivery.
• Work closely with Account Managers, Procurement and operational teams to improve satisfaction and drive commercial opportunities.
