Internal Account Manager

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Internal Account Manager to join our client’s commercial team in Colnbrook. You will be the primary point of contact for existing customers and will actively pursue new business opportunities, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new business leads.
• Manage and develop relationships with existing accounts.
• Prepare accurate quotations and follow up to secure orders.
• Resolve technical or delivery issues promptly.
• Oversee order processing from stock checks to delivery scheduling.
• Handle cash sales and customer collections professionally.
• Prioritise daily tasks to meet quote and order deadlines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales and account management, preferably in a technical environment.
• Strong customer‑focused attitude with problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, negotiate pricing and meet targets.
• Reliable team player with a proactive, can‑do mindset.
• Good GCSE and A‑level results; further qualifications (HNC/HND/degree) are a plus.

• Ability to quickly understand a wide product range.
• Effective communication and negotiation.
• Organisational skills for order and deadline management.
