Internal Auditor

About the role

Join a fast‑growing AI‑enabled fintech at the heart of European payments as an Internal Auditor. You will work from either London or Milton Keynes, applying a systematic approach to risk management, control, and corporate governance across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on regulatory, operational, financial and business internal audit assignments.
• Document company policies and procedures and contribute to the annual audit plan using a risk‑based approach.
• Identify control gaps, recommend risk‑mitigation measures and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Conduct follow‑up audits to monitor the implementation of management actions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with sector regulations, best practices, tools and techniques.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3 to 6 years of auditing experience in public accounting or industry.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, procedures and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyse and synthesize large data sets.
• Team player who takes ownership while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
