Internal Auditor (Temporary)

About the role

Our client, an international distribution business based in London, is seeking a temporary Internal Auditor for a 10‑month assignment. The role involves leading audits across a diverse global portfolio and reporting findings to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, scope and execute internal audits from start to finish, ensuring all key business controls are examined.
• Prepare detailed audit working papers, document findings and formulate recommendations.
• Present audit results and improvement opportunities to senior management through meetings and formal reports.
• Produce high‑quality audit reports identifying control weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct follow‑up reviews to assess implementation of agreed actions.
• Support monthly management reporting and broader internal audit initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified internal auditor with relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
• Available to start immediately or within one week’s notice.

Required skills

• Report writing and presentation.
