Internal Communications Advisor

About the role

Monzo is seeking an Internal Communications Advisor to join its People team in Cardiff. You will help shape and deliver clear, consistent internal messaging across the business, supporting high‑visibility projects and day‑to‑day communications.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with People, Operations and other stakeholders to develop and execute targeted internal communications plans.
• Support company‑wide campaigns and projects, managing roll‑outs and ensuring timely, on‑brand messaging.
• Own specific communication actions or entire project plans, representing the Internal Comms function in cross‑functional groups.
• Tri­age and route everyday communications requests, matching messages to the appropriate audiences.
• Maintain the Internal Communications tracker and keep stakeholders informed of upcoming communications.
• Analyse data to evaluate the impact of communications and demonstrate value to the business.
• Collaborate with the Space & Community team on engagement initiatives, virtual campaigns and employee recognition events.
• Run workshops and create bite‑size guides to share best‑practice communication tips with team leads and managers.

Required profile

• Creative communicator with a proactive, reliable work ethic.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and delivering high‑quality output quickly.
• Strong relationship‑building skills across the organisation.
• Ability to interpret data and use insights to improve communications.
• Attention to detail to ensure messaging is consistent, compliant and strategic.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience planning and executing internal communications campaigns.
• Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with communication tracking systems.
