Internal Communications Manager

About the role

As the Internal Communications Manager you will shape how William Reed shares its transformation journey with employees. You will bring clarity to the company’s strategy, priorities and culture, ensuring staff feel informed and connected.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver an internal communications strategy aligned with business priorities and employee engagement goals.
• Manage and optimise internal channels to ensure timely, relevant and accessible content.
• Partner with senior leaders and the Executive Team to communicate strategy, performance and organisational change.
• Create engaging content across formats – written pieces, presentations, campaigns and multimedia.
• Enable two‑way communication through feedback mechanisms, forums and interactive initiatives.
• Champion organisational culture and values through storytelling and communication campaigns.
• Measure and evaluate communication effectiveness, using insights to improve engagement.
• Support People and Culture initiatives such as learning, wellbeing and recognition programmes.
• Oversee communication delivery during periods of change, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal communications, employee engagement or corporate communications within a complex or evolving organisation.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, capable of producing high‑quality, engaging content.
• Ability to partner with senior leaders and translate strategic messages for a broad audience.
• Experience measuring communication impact and using feedback to refine approaches.
