Internal Sales Administrator

About the role

Breedon Group plc is seeking an Internal Sales Administrator to join the sales team at our Dowlow Quarry in Buxton. You will act as the first point of contact for customers, manage quotations, process orders and support the cash sales workflow, helping to drive growth of our construction material portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and log all enquiries.
• Prepare and price quotations within agreed tolerances.
• Record detailed notes on each enquiry and customer interaction.
• Process order acknowledgements when purchase orders are received and update the Excalibur system.
• Administer the cash sales process and provide data to the Purchase Ledger team.
• Produce weekly sales reports for the Area Sales Manager, highlighting key metrics and notable enquiries.
• Identify upsell opportunities and proactively seek new or declining customers and sites.
• Provide occasional cover for other departments as needed.
