Internal Sales – Electrical

About the role

A leading supplier of electrical test equipment, calibration services and technical solutions is seeking an ambitious Internal Sales Executive to join its growing team in Glasgow. This role is ideal for someone with an electrical background who enjoys building customer relationships and wants a clear pathway to a future field sales position.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers across utilities, facilities management, electrical contracting and industrial markets.
• Respond to customer enquiries, provide product and technical support, and prepare quotations.
• Proactively contact customers to identify new business opportunities and maximise sales.
• Promote a range of electrical test equipment, calibration services and technical solutions.
• Ensure excellent levels of customer service and effective account management.

Required profile

• Previous sales, customer service or account management experience within an electrical environment.
• Background in electrical wholesale, electrical products, test equipment or a related technical field.
• Commercially minded and motivated to develop a sales career.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Organised, proactive and confident speaking with customers by phone and email.
