Internal Sales Executive (Construction / Builders Merchants)

About the role

We are seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join a fast‑growing insulation specialist that supplies high‑end construction projects across the UK. Based in Barking, you will work within a tight‑knit team of six, handling inbound enquiries and supporting the order fulfilment process.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and process inbound phone and email enquiries from builders, merchants and contractors.
• Verify order status, coordinate with delivery drivers and update customers on progress.
• Provide technical product information and identify upsell opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records in the order management system and support administrative tasks.
• Liaise with suppliers, internal departments and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Internal Sales Executive or similar role within construction, builders merchants or insulation.
• Familiarity with high‑value construction projects and the ability to understand customer requirements.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to commute to Barking, South East England.
