Internal Sales Executive – Electrical Wholesale

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Internal Sales Executive to join a well‑established business in the electrical wholesale sector. Based in Rossendale, you will manage key customer accounts, ensure a seamless order process and help grow revenue through strong relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of medium to large customer accounts.
• Build strong relationships with existing customers and deliver high‑level service.
• Prepare quotations, process orders and proactively follow up opportunities.
• Identify sales opportunities to maximise revenue and grow accounts.
• Liaise with suppliers to source products and meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate, on‑time delivery.
• Support branch sales and gross‑margin targets.
• Resolve customer enquiries efficiently and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Previous internal sales experience in the electrical wholesale industry.
• Proven track record managing key or high‑value customer accounts.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Commercial mindset with a focus on identifying sales opportunities.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise a busy workload.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Experience using CRM systems.
• Experience using ERP systems.
