Internal Sales Executive

About the role

Greenmill is seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join its Ardleigh team. This customer‑focused position involves engaging with existing clients, re‑activating lapsed accounts and identifying new business opportunities to support the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with current customers.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Re‑engage lapsed accounts and convert them back to active status.
• Promptly follow up on sales enquiries and leads.
• Proactively contact customers to uncover sales opportunities.
• Recommend suitable products and solutions that add value.
• Collaborate closely with the external sales team and internal departments.
• Keep customer records and activity logs up to date.
• Monitor account performance and suggest growth initiatives.
• Deliver a consistently excellent customer experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales, account management or a customer‑facing role.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence speaking on the phone.
• Proactive mindset with strong commercial awareness.
• Ability to build rapport and nurture long‑term customer relationships.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive attitude and results‑driven approach.
• Team‑oriented with willingness to support colleagues.
