Internal Sales Representative – HVAC Solutions

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Internal Sales professional to join a growing HVAC organisation in Southampton. You will support the sales team by generating new business, nurturing customer relationships and contributing to the company’s continued expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through outbound telesales and lead generation.
• Identify and target prospective B2B customers across multiple industries.
• Support external Sales Engineers by booking appointments and qualifying leads.
• Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate customer and opportunity data.
• Conduct market research to spot trends, competitor activity and new opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing to support promotional campaigns and lead generation.
• Develop a solid understanding of HVAC and process‑cooling solutions to discuss products confidently.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports and performance updates for management.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales, telesales, business development or customer service, preferably B2B.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities, especially over the phone.
• Motivated, results‑oriented and able to work independently within a team.
• Interest in technical industries such as engineering, HVAC or manufacturing is advantageous.

Required skills

• Experience using a CRM system.
