International Business Development Manager

About the role

The International Business Development Manager will join a leading collaborative law firm to expand its network of clients and referral partners across borders. Working closely with the existing BD and marketing teams, you will shape the firm’s international growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead proactive conversations with partners across the firm to ensure a coordinated approach to international referrals.
• Own and manage the budget for all international business development activities and initiatives.
• Drive relationship building, conversion, and ongoing engagement with referral firms and clients worldwide.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that support international outreach.
• Report on performance metrics and adjust strategies to meet growth targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international business development within legal or professional services firms.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Strong understanding of jurisdictional nuances and referral networks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
