International Casualty Broker

About the role

This position is with a market‑leading Lloyd's broker looking for a dedicated professional to join its International Casualty division. You will be responsible for servicing, growing, and placing non‑US casualty risks for a diverse client base across the globe.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and service a portfolio of international casualty accounts, maintaining high client retention.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, insurers, and international network partners.
• Negotiate terms, coverage, and premiums with insurers on behalf of clients.
• Provide expert advice on General Liability, Employers Liability, Products Liability, and Excess Liability.
• Coordinate international insurance programmes, ensuring compliance with local regulations and global standards.
• Prepare market presentations, renewal strategies, and client reports.
• Identify new business opportunities through networking and referrals.
• Collaborate with internal broking, claims, and placement teams to deliver seamless service.
• Stay updated on market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience working for a Lloyd's broker.
• Proven track record placing or handling London Market casualty risks.
• Experience with cross‑class or international risk exposure (desirable).
• Excellent relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
