International CFO & Data Compliance & Operational Risk Specialist

About the role

This senior position is responsible for second‑line compliance and operational risk oversight of Legal Entity Controllership Reporting across Bank of America’s EMEA entities. Based in London, the role ensures the accuracy of books and records required for financial and regulatory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Execute second‑line compliance and operational risk oversight for Legal Entity Controllership Reporting.
• Review and challenge processes and controls to guarantee accurate financial and regulatory reporting.
• Implement Global Compliance Enterprise Policy and Operational Risk Management Enterprise Policy.
• Identify, challenge, escalate, and mitigate compliance and operational risks in a timely manner.
• Support Compliance and Operational Risk teams with independent oversight of Data Risk.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance, compliance, or operational risk within a large, multinational organization.
• Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and internal control frameworks.
• Ability to assess risk, evaluate control effectiveness, and produce clear documentation.
