International Placement Broker

About the role

We are seeking an International Placement Broker to join our specialist International Casualty team in London. The role sits between senior and junior team members, reporting to the Head of International Liability, and offers exposure to complex international risks across the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Support the placement of international casualty risks into London and wider insurance markets.
• Engage with insurers, obtain quotations and negotiate terms.
• Develop account ownership by quoting, placing and helping win new business.
• Prepare slips, manage documentation and oversee the full placement lifecycle.
• Work across a varied portfolio of risks originating from diverse territories.
• Collaborate closely with senior and junior colleagues within a close‑knit team.

Required profile

• Previous exposure to international casualty insurance or broking.
• Ability to work on territories such as the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, or comparable markets.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to interact with clients and insurers.
• Motivation to progress from support tasks to full quoting and placement responsibilities.
