International Sales Account Manager – Procurement & Supply Chain

About the role

This full‑time, office‑based position is with a fast‑growing international procurement and supply‑chain business serving engineering clients worldwide. You will act as the primary liaison between customers and global suppliers, delivering competitive sourcing solutions and outstanding service.

Key responsibilities

• Source products from UK and international suppliers.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with both suppliers and customers.
• Obtain, evaluate and negotiate supplier quotations, pricing, lead times and delivery schedules.
• Prepare accurate, competitive quotations for customers and manage purchase orders through to completion.
• Analyse technical customer requirements and identify suitable sourcing solutions.
• Challenge supplier pricing to maximise value and profitability.
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers and suppliers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Finance teams to ensure excellent customer service.
• Monitor supplier performance, ensure compliance with specifications and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Achieve individual KPIs, procurement targets and sales objectives.

Required profile

• Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in sales, account management, procurement, purchasing, supply‑chain or strategic sourcing.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier‑management abilities.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Outstanding organisational and time‑management capabilities.
• High attention to detail and professional telephone manner.
