About the role
Amazon EU is looking for an International Tax Manager to support its European store operations. The role combines tax advisory expertise with project leadership, ensuring tax compliance and strategic input across new and existing initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to provide tax input on new business initiatives and ongoing queries.
- Deliver detailed tax analysis and recommendations for corporate projects.
- Translate complex tax concepts into clear guidance for non‑tax professionals.
- Maintain regular engagement with business partners to ensure compliance with Amazon’s European structure.
- Assess the impact of current and upcoming European tax laws on Amazon’s operations.
- Manage relationships with external tax consultants and regulatory authorities.
Required profile
- Minimum 7 years of international income‑tax experience in a public accounting firm, major law firm, or multinational corporation.
- Experience working with European tax legislation.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Fluency in English; additional European language is a plus.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
