International Tax Manager, EU Stores Tax Planning & Advisory

About the role

Amazon EU is looking for an International Tax Manager to support its European store operations. The role will combine tax advisory expertise with project supervision, working closely with business partners across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with multiple stakeholders to lead tax input on new business initiatives and provide ongoing tax support.
• Deliver detailed corporate tax analysis and recommendations for projects.
• Communicate complex tax concepts in clear terms for non‑tax professionals.
• Engage regularly with business partners to ensure compliance with Amazon’s European structure.
• Assess the impact of existing and upcoming European tax laws on Amazon’s businesses.
• Manage relationships with external tax consultants and regulatory authorities.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of international income tax experience in a public accounting firm, major law firm, or multinational corporation.
• Experience working with European tax laws.
• Fluency in English; additional European language is a plus.
• Degree in law or accounting, chartered accountant qualification or graduate degree in taxation preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
