International Treasury and Corporate Governance Attorney

About the role

Bank of America is seeking a senior attorney to lead Treasury issuance, repurchase and corporate governance matters outside the United States. The role sits within the Corporate Secretary/CFO Legal group and reports to senior Treasury and legal leadership across EMEA, APAC and the UK/Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all Treasury issuance and repurchase activities outside the U.S., including debt issuances in EMEA and APAC.
• Oversee inter‑company Treasury activities such as loans, restructurings and related documentation.
• Partner with the Treasury Guaranty Management team on guarantees issued by Bank of America and BANA outside the U.S.
• Provide general Treasury legal support and governance advice to non‑U.S. entities.
• Interact regularly with Treasury senior management globally and with directors of EU material entities.
• Collaborate with the CFO Legal team and the EU/UK corporate secretary team on cross‑border legal projects.

Required profile

• Qualified attorney with extensive experience in Treasury law, corporate governance and cross‑border financing.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a small, high‑performing legal team.
• Strong communication skills for frequent interaction with senior management and board directors.
• Experience with EU/UK corporate secretarial matters and multinational legal structures.
