Interventions Lead – SEN Intervention Teacher

About the role
The school is seeking an Interventions Lead to coordinate targeted support for students facing academic, behavioural, attendance or wellbeing challenges. You will work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, parents and external agencies to ensure every learner receives the help they need to succeed.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and organise intervention programmes for pupils requiring additional support.
- Monitor and track student progress, measuring the impact of interventions.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, pastoral teams, parents and external partners.
- Identify students who would benefit from academic, behavioural, attendance or wellbeing support.
- Analyse data to shape intervention strategies and evaluate effectiveness.
- Provide support to vulnerable students and promote an inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records and produce regular reports on intervention outcomes.
Required profile
- Experience working in a school or educational setting.
- Strong understanding of student support and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
- Proven ability to analyse data and monitor student progress.
- Motivational approach to helping young people succeed.
- Strong organisational skills and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
