Inventory and SIOP Manager

About the role

Armstrong Fluid Technology is seeking an experienced and proactive SIOP & Inventory Manager to lead inventory control activities within its Manchester manufacturing facility. The role ensures efficient management of raw materials, components, WIP, and finished goods to support production schedules and customer delivery commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels for raw materials, purchased components, consumables, WIP and finished products, optimizing stock availability while minimizing excess and working capital.
• Lead the monthly SIOP cycle, developing integrated demand, supply, production and inventory plans and presenting executive dashboards.
• Collaborate with Production Planning, Procurement and Logistics to ensure material availability and coordinate replenishment aligned with production requirements.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency and material flow.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience participating in or supporting a Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
• Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and stakeholder‑management abilities.
