Inventory Controller – Late Shift

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join the busy late‑shift team in Aylesbury. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels and supporting efficient warehouse operations during the 2 pm‑10 pm shift, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate stock levels across all warehouse areas.
• Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Process goods‑in and goods‑out, ensuring correct documentation and system updates.
• Pick, pack and dispatch orders while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Perform quality control checks on outbound products and returns.
• Organise and keep the warehouse clean and structured.
• Assist with refurbishment, sorting and reallocation of old or returned stock.
• Support the Warehouse Supervisor in continuous improvement of stock control procedures.
• Record discrepancies and report stock variances to management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in stock control, inventory management or warehouse operations.
• High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks safely.
• Reliable, proactive and a positive team player.
• Problem‑solver who enjoys practical, hands‑on work.

What we offer

• £29,000 per annum
• Late‑shift schedule (2 pm‑10 pm) Monday‑Friday
