Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator – Bath

About the role

We are supporting a well‑established product‑led business in Bath that needs an organised and analytical professional to manage purchasing and inventory. Working closely with the Production Manager, you will ensure product availability, control costs and keep the supply chain running smoothly in a fast‑paced, seasonal environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist forecasting activities to guarantee timely product supply.
• Coordinate product reprints and new launches with internal teams and suppliers.
• Create, track and manage purchase orders from placement through delivery.
• Monitor stock levels, recommend actions to avoid shortages and maintain accurate pricing data.
• Liaise with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders and internal departments to organise shipments.
• Track production timelines and provide regular progress updates.
• Produce and analyse KPI reports on stock availability and shipping performance.
• Identify risks proactively and implement practical process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in purchasing, demand planning, forecasting or inventory management.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to work with large data sets.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and organisational abilities with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities.
