About the role
The aim of the Investment Advisor scheme is to provide candidates with a comprehensive range of experience and training. Investment Advisors will support the branch/desk, adapting to changing responsibilities while providing professional support to users of the department’s resources.
Key responsibilities
- Adopt a proactive and independent approach, especially when studying and building commercial awareness.
- Become an effective and willing team member.
- Learn and understand the systems and processes associated with the firm.
- Learn about the products and services provided to clients.
- Study and successfully complete the CISI Masters in Wealth Management within the remaining 30‑month period (36 months total).
Required skills
- Evidence of leadership skills, possibly demonstrated through sporting achievements or responsibilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A "can‑do" attitude.
- Understanding or interest in the financial services sector.
- Very high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Organised and efficient.
- Strong team player.
