Investment Banking Associate – Debt Advisory

About the role
A leading investment banking advisory firm is seeking an Associate to join its Debt Advisory team in London. You will support private equity funds and corporates in raising debt, structuring LBO financing, refinancings and buyouts.
Key responsibilities
- Originate and execute debt financing assignments for mid‑market private equity and corporate clients.
- Prepare financial models, pitch books and transaction documentation.
- Conduct market research and liaise with lenders to secure optimal financing structures.
- Collaborate with senior bankers to advise on acquisition and buyout financing.
- Maintain and develop the team’s deal pipeline.
Required profile
- Current experience in investment banking or a top‑tier advisory firm.
- Strong background in debt advisory or leveraged finance, with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work on complex financing transactions.
