Investment Banking Associate – Industrials (London)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading global independent advisory firm to hire an Associate for its Industrials Investment Banking team in London. You will work on high‑profile M&A transactions across a broad range of industrial subsectors, advising corporate clients, private‑equity investors and entrepreneurs.

Key responsibilities

• Execute live sell‑side and buy‑side M&A mandates from preparation to completion.
• Build and review complex financial models, valuation analyses and transaction materials.
• Prepare pitchbooks, management presentations, and information memoranda.
• Conduct detailed company, industry and strategic analysis.
• Manage due‑diligence processes and coordinate external advisers.
• Mentor junior analysts and support business‑development initiatives.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of Investment Banking M&A experience.
• Current experience at a leading bulge‑bracket bank or elite boutique.
• Strong transaction execution experience on both buy‑side and sell‑side assignments.
• Excellent analytical, commercial and presentation abilities.
• Strong academic background from a leading university.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and desire to progress.
