Investment Banking Associate – LevFin

About the role

Citi is seeking a motivated Investment Banking Associate to support its LevFin franchise in London. You will work closely with senior bankers to advise clients on capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of Citi's investment banking activities, including M&A and capital markets deals.
• Leverage prior investment‑banking experience to enhance deal execution and client coverage.
• Contribute to building Citi's franchise by supporting business development initiatives.
• Manage and mentor analysts, providing guidance, feedback, and oversight of their work.
• Assess risk appropriately, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Master's degree (MBA) is desirable.
• Experience evaluating corporate transactions, structures and creating financial analyses.
• Strong problem‑solving, organizational and communication skills.
• Proven ability to support client development and track industry trends.
