About the role
The Investment Banking Associate will support Citi’s real‑estate, lodging and gaming franchise, helping clients raise capital and execute strategic transactions. This intermediate‑level position works closely with senior bankers and the Institutional Banking team to deliver advisory services.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of Citi’s investment banking activities, including capital raising and M&A transactions for real‑estate, lodging and gaming clients.
- Leverage prior investment‑banking experience to enhance deal execution and support the Institutional Banking team.
- Contribute to the growth of Citi’s franchise by identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Manage and mentor analysts, providing guidance, feedback and oversight of their work.
- Assess risk and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Master’s degree (MBA) is preferred.
- Proven experience evaluating corporate transactions and creating financial analyses.
- Strong problem‑solving, organizational and communication skills.
- Experience supporting client development and tracking industry trends.
