Investment Banking Associate/Analyst – Industrials

About the role

Join a leading global investment banking platform as an Analyst or Associate on the Industrials team. You will support transaction execution and client advisory across mergers & acquisitions, leveraged finance, equity financings, restructurings and recapitalisations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of companies, industries and market trends.
• Perform financial valuations using DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions and LBO analysis.
• Build, maintain and analyse complex financial and operating models.
• Prepare client presentations, pitch books, valuation materials and information memoranda.
• Support M&A, financing and strategic advisory transactions and manage due‑diligence processes.
• Compile financial databases, market intelligence and sector research.
• Participate in client meetings, conference calls and deliver sector updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent academic qualification.
• Relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance or transaction advisory (1‑5+ years depending on level).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Financial modelling.
• Valuation techniques (DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions, LBO).
