Investment Compliance & Risk Team Lead

About the role

The Investment Compliance & Risk Team Lead will oversee the day‑to‑day compliance and risk operations for Funds‑Axis, ensuring that business‑as‑usual activities meet the firm’s governance framework. Reporting to the Head of Investment Compliance & Risk, the role combines leadership, client service and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the compliance & risk team, ensuring SLA targets (90% rules processing, 85% dashboards) are achieved.
• Maintain client relationships by attending governance calls, handling queries and supporting onboarding.
• Produce monthly performance, risk and MI reports for senior management.
• Identify training needs, resourcing gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support efficiency and automation projects and collaborate with the Projects team on additional client support.
