Investment Operations Associate

About the role

Join 17Capital’s Middle Office as an Investment Operations Associate, supporting loan administration, deal documentation and data management for private credit transactions. You will be the primary point of contact for each assigned deal, ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency throughout the investment lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support trade settlement, drawdowns, repayments and interest calculations for assigned deals.
• Process loan cash flows accurately under VP supervision and maintain loan position records.
• Maintain deal files, compliance certificates and ensure documentation is audit‑ready.
• Manage day‑to‑day interactions with loan agents, custodians and other external parties.
• Perform weekly data reconciliations between 17Capital systems and third‑party administrators such as Allvue.
• Support quarterly valuation processes by preparing cash‑flow data and deal models.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, Maths or a highly numerical discipline.
• Minimum 2+ years experience in loan administration within a fund administrator or private credit manager.
• Strong attention to detail, data mindset and ability to work across multiple workstreams.
• Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and develop specialist expertise.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and quality control.
• Experience with loan administration systems such as Allvue or Sentry.
• Ability to interrogate, reconcile and improve large data sets.
• Basic AI capability to enhance data processes.
