Investment Product Manager – London

About the role

The Investment Product Manager will act as a bridge between investment, distribution, client, platform and operational teams, translating market insight and client needs into clear product priorities. Based in London, the role combines strategic analysis with hands‑on product development to expand and enhance the firm’s investment offering.

Key responsibilities

• Support investment strategy discussions and define proposition priorities across retail and institutional channels.
• Prepare high‑quality papers, presentations and recommendations for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Analyse market, product and client trends to inform investment proposition road‑maps.
• Review the existing product line‑up, identifying opportunities for enhancement, consolidation or new development.
• Assist early‑stage product design, including target market, features, vehicle considerations and commercial rationale.
• Assess product performance, customer outcomes, profitability and ongoing suitability.

Required profile

• Broad investment experience – investment/asset management, proposition development, product management or investment consulting.
• Familiarity with defined‑contribution post‑retirement or workplace investing markets is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain investment concepts clearly to clients and internal teams.
• Self‑starter with the ability to drive initiatives in a changing environment.

What we offer

• Salary £70,000‑£80,000 per year plus an approximate £10,000 bonus.
• Pension contribution of around £10,000.
• Hybrid working model – 12 days per month in the London office, the remainder remote.
