Investor Relations Associate

About the role

We are looking for an Investor Relations Associate to help grow the investor side of Pairs, a two‑sided platform that connects founders with family offices and high‑net‑worth individuals. You will work alongside senior investors on live mandates, qualifying allocators, preparing briefs, and keeping relationships warm while building your own network of family offices and HNWIs.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify allocators, prepare briefing notes, and run follow‑ups on live deals.
• Maintain warm investor relationships between mandates.
• Identify and engage new family offices and HNWIs that back US startups.
• Earn first conversations and grow a personal book of allocator relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience building an allocator network through wealth management, private banking, family office, placement, or independent hustle.
• Ability to explain your method for finding investors, securing first conversations, and staying useful.
• Understanding of how investors allocate capital, ideally into US startups.
• Strong listening skills and a disciplined approach to confidentiality.
• Comfort using AI tools to run pipelines and preparation work.
