Invoice Specialist

About the role

Calero is seeking an Invoice Specialist to join its team in the UK, working from one of its Cannock, Tunbridge Wells or Edinburgh offices. The role involves obtaining, chasing, and loading telecom invoices across multiple platforms while ensuring compliance with client‑specific Service Level Agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and load client telecom invoices according to SLA requirements.
• Validate invoice data accuracy, including dates, vendor details, charges, amounts and accounting distributions.
• Identify and note variances, and flag invoices for further validation.
• Collect missing invoices and monitor open helpdesk tickets, escalating issues as needed.
• Collaborate with internal staff and vendors to resolve billing discrepancies.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of customer‑service experience.
• Strong verbal, written and non‑verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality.
• Action‑oriented, results‑driven with a focus on quality decision‑making.
• Analytical, organized and capable of prioritising tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with data‑entry systems.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities for systems and networking.
• Knowledge of log‑file output and ability to analyse end‑user issues.
