iOS Developer – Hybrid (Manchester, UK)

About the role

Capgemini is looking for an experienced iOS developer with a strong background in the banking sector. The role is hybrid, combining work from company offices, client sites, and home, and involves delivering high‑quality mobile applications for financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Collaborate with product, UX/UI, QA and backend teams to deliver robust features.
• Participate in architectural discussions, choosing patterns such as MVVM, VIPER or Clean Architecture.
• Use GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, merge requests and code reviews.
• Optimize performance, memory usage and responsiveness of apps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure stability.
• Mentor junior developers and support end‑to‑end project delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and modern iOS development patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with SwiftUI for building native interfaces.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Background in banking or financial services is a plus.
