Island Community Support Worker (Female, Driver)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Female Adult Support Worker for a short‑term, full‑time placement on a beautiful Scottish island. The role involves providing person‑centred care to adults and seniors in their own homes, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and independence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, person‑focused support in clients' residences.
• Perform safe moving and handling, and provide personal care with dignity.
• Administer medication accurately and maintain detailed records.
• Travel independently across island locations to meet service users.
• Monitor and report any changes in health or circumstances to management.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a "Care at Home" setting supporting older adults.
• Flexibility to work 5‑6 days a week, around 45+ hours.
• Resilient, adaptable attitude suitable for remote island environments.
• Full UK driving licence and reliable vehicle.
