IT Asset Manager – EMEA Hardware Asset Management

About the role

Our client, a leading global financial services organisation, is looking for an experienced IT Asset Manager to establish and enhance its Hardware Asset Management (HAM) capability across the EMEA region. You will own the full hardware lifecycle, ensuring governance, regulatory compliance and cost optimisation in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of IT hardware assets from procurement through secure disposal.
• Develop and implement HAM policies, standards and processes.
• Maintain accurate enterprise asset records using ServiceNow or an equivalent CMDB/ITAM platform.
• Improve asset data quality through reconciliation and governance initiatives.
• Produce reporting and dashboards on asset utilisation, compliance and lifecycle status.
• Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation and asset records.
• Partner with Procurement, Finance and Technology teams to optimise asset utilisation and costs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
• Oversee secure disposal of end‑of‑life hardware in line with security and environmental policies.
• Deliver guidance and training to operational teams on asset management processes.

Required profile

• Strong experience in IT Asset Management or IT Operations, preferably within regulated financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to work with senior stakeholders and support audit and compliance initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• ServiceNow ITAM or equivalent CMDB/ITAM platform.
• ITIL principles and ITIL Foundation knowledge.
• CMDB management and hardware lifecycle management.
