IT Auditor – VP Level (6‑month contract)

About the role

Deutsche Bank is seeking an experienced IT Auditor to join a 6‑month contract team in London. The role is hybrid, requiring attendance in the office three days a week, and focuses on high‑profile investment‑banking audits within a complex trading environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end internal audits across Algo Trading and Rates/Index desks, covering trade lifecycle, systems, and control frameworks.
• Review and assess algorithmic trading models, automated decision‑making systems, and associated controls.
• Perform detailed IT audit work including trade capture, booking processes, and system validation.
• Conduct technical reviews of code, system logic, and automated controls in Java/C++ environments.
• Engage with front‑office stakeholders such as traders, quant teams, and technology partners.
• Support delivery of large, complex audits, including global audits with extensive control frameworks, within tight timelines.

Required profile

• VP‑level internal audit experience, preferably within investment banking.
• Strong knowledge of rates, index products, or algorithmic trading.
• Proven ability to independently own audit delivery and manage stakeholder relationships.
