IT Business Analyst – Hybrid, Full‑Time

About the role

We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to join a well‑established professional services organisation in Luton. Working in a hybrid setting, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams and third‑party partners, helping to deliver technology solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges and opportunities.
• Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements.
• Produce high‑quality artefacts such as business cases, process maps, functional specifications, requirements documents and user stories.
• Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for development teams and vendors.
• Support solution design and validate that proposed solutions meet business requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions.
• Assist with requirements prioritisation, scope management and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Act as the primary liaison between business users, internal technology teams and external suppliers.
• Contribute to change management, user adoption and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar business change role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to gather, analyse and document requirements.
• Experience facilitating workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
