IT Change Manager – 6 Month Contract

About the role

The IT Change Manager will oversee all changes to the organisation's IT environment, ensuring they are planned, assessed, authorised and reviewed in a controlled manner. This 6‑month contract role focuses on minimising risk to service availability while maintaining compliance with internal policies and security requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end IT change management process, from logging to post‑implementation review.
• Evaluate impact and risk of proposed changes to services, infrastructure and business operations.
• Organise and lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Conduct change reviews, capture lessons learned and prevent recurrence of issues.
• Coordinate implementation schedules and communicate changes to affected parties.
• Develop and track KPIs such as change success rate, failed changes and emergency changes.
• Collaborate with service owners, IT operations and external partners to ensure smooth execution.

Required profile

• University degree (bachelor’s preferred) in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• ITIL v3 or v4 certification.
• Experience in IT service delivery, performance management and SLA/KPI setting.
• Eligibility for high‑level UK security clearance.
