IT Consultant – Client-Facing Technical Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated, customer‑focused IT Consultant to join our growing technical team. You will deliver end‑to‑end IT services and solutions to a range of clients, combining hands‑on technical expertise with strong consultancy skills.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end technical support, own and resolve client issues in line with SLA/KPI targets.
• Travel to client sites across the South East to deliver technical services, project work and escalated support.
• Install, configure and upgrade hardware and software, including servers, PCs, networking equipment and cloud‑based systems.
• Manage and document incidents, service requests and resolutions accurately.
• Conduct onsite audits, surveys and assessments of infrastructure and network environments.
• Work independently and collaboratively to understand client requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Deliver clear end‑user training on new and existing systems to ensure successful adoption.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel regularly to client locations.
• Motivation to stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies.
