IT Delivery Partner / Business Partner

About the role

This position is with a leading public sector organisation that is driving a major digital transformation. Reporting to the Director of IT and Information Systems, you will lead a portfolio of digital, technology and business change initiatives across professional services and critical technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a portfolio of digital, technology and business change programmes.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and translate business requirements into technology solutions.
• Manage portfolio priorities, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies.
• Support adoption of Agile and product‑led delivery methodologies.
• Oversee supplier, vendor and contract management activities.
• Ensure projects and services meet governance, compliance and quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and benefits realisation across technology investments.
• Lead, coach and develop high‑performing teams.
• Provide strategic oversight, reporting and assurance to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale digital, IT or business transformation portfolios.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior leadership level.
• Experience managing budgets, governance, resources and delivery performance.
• Commercial acumen with supplier and contract management experience.
• Ability to translate organisational strategy into technology‑enabled outcomes.
• Experience in the public sector or other complex multi‑stakeholder environments is advantageous.
