IT Disputes Solicitor – Technology Litigation

About the role

The firm is seeking an experienced IT Disputes Solicitor to join its market‑leading Technology Disputes team in London. You will work on high‑profile, complex litigation involving AI, data, software and emerging technologies, advising a diverse client base from global corporations to high‑growth tech start‑ups.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead contentious matters including contractual disputes, negligence claims, data misuse, breach of confidence and trade secret cases.
• Conduct High Court litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution for technology‑focused clients.
• Draft and negotiate technology contracts, software licences and data protection agreements.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, contributing to business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative legal solutions.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE in commercial litigation, technology or IT disputes.
• Strong commercial awareness and a genuine interest in technology, AI and data‑driven sectors.
• Proactive, commercially minded and confident in managing client relationships.
• Commitment to professional development and team growth.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of technology contracts and software dispute law.
• Understanding of AI, data protection and fintech regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with High Court litigation, arbitration and ADR processes.
