IT Engineer – End User Support & Cloud Administration

About the role

This position is for an IT Engineer who will provide first‑ and second‑line support to users across office and operational sites. You will work with a broad range of Microsoft technologies, help deploy and manage devices, and contribute to the security and reliability of the organisation's IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 1st and 2nd line technical support via phone, email, remote tools and face‑to‑face.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printing, connectivity and mobile device issues.
• Build, configure and deploy Windows laptops, desktops and mobile devices using Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams) and Azure AD (Entra ID).
• Support Azure resource monitoring, identity and access management, and security controls such as MFA and Conditional Access.
• Assist with network infrastructure installation and maintenance, including routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.

Required profile

• Motivated, hands‑on professional with a strong interest in Microsoft cloud and endpoint technologies.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for site visits.
• Ability to work independently and manage incidents through a ticketing system.
