IT Field Engineer – Computer Hardware & Printer (Nationwide Travel)

About the role

We are seeking an IT Field Engineer to join a Europe‑wide technology company. Based in Maidenhead, you will travel across England, supporting a range of industries such as pharmaceutical, oil & gas and finance. The role includes a company‑provided Luton van, fuel card and paid accommodation for overnight stays.

Key responsibilities

• Test, configure and deploy laptops and printers on client sites.
• Perform hardware replacements, including hard drives, motherboards and other components.
• Remove and replace faulty or legacy devices to maintain operational continuity.
• Travel to multiple locations nationwide, often requiring overnight stays.

Required profile

• Flexibility with working hours and willingness to travel extensively.
• Experience in on‑site IT hardware support.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to varied client environments.
